Hampshire Advice Network
What is the Hampshire Advice Network?
Basically it’s a network for organisations and groups which provide advice, information and signposting in relation to social welfare law. It aims to drive collaboration between agencies and help different advice providers to share resources, training, skills and best practice.
How it works
Launched in July 2010, today the Hampshire Advice Network has 58 ‘committed’ organisations on board. The Network meets three times a year to run workshops, share information, good news and best practice, hear from guest speakers and offer support and opportunities for joint working.
It’s a great way to build new relationships, offer help and support and build on the great work being done in Hampshire to date.
But don’t take our word for it. Tina Neeson, Business Development Manager at Payplan reports: "I am very impressed with what I have seen so far. You get the right senior people to attend the meeting which means things actually happen.”
Who can join the Advice Network?
If you are an advice or information provider in Hampshire we’d like to hear from you. Whether you are a not-for-profit, voluntary or community organisation, a solicitor or other fee charging service, from the statutory sector or something else, please do get in touch.

HAN event – 27 February 2013
We’re nine Network meetings down and still going strong. A well-attended event showcased the work and partnership opportunities of a number of key organisations in the county including Citizens Advice Hampshire and Trading Standards, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Pharmaceutical Committee, Hampshire County Council and Community Action Hampshire.
