At Citizens Advice Hampshire our motto is ‘Let’s work together’. That’s because collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Not only do we support our member CABs working together, we also work with other charities and organisations in order to achieve common goals.
Meet our partners
Citizens Advice Hampshire’s goal is to improve access to high quality advice in Hampshire, and we believe we can only achieve this by working together. Below are some of the key organisations we are already working with as partners, as funders and as both.
Hampshire County Council
Hampshire County Council have actively supported us both before and during our transition to Citizens Advice Hampshire. Hampshire County Council continue to fund the provision of specialist training and support services for our member CABs.
Macmillan Cancer Support
Citizens Advice Hampshire is partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support to deliver a countywide specialist advice service for people affected by cancer.
Since the partnership started additional funds have been allocated by Macmillan to enable Portsmouth and Southampton to be included and recently funds for a new employment advice project have been awarded.
Community Action Hampshire
Community Action Hampshire are key stakeholders in Citizens Advice Hampshire’s Hampshire Advice Plus project. CAH is the independent county-wide support and development organisation for the Not-for-Profit sector in and around Hampshire
Big Lottery
Our Big Lotteryfunding provides for the Hampshire Advice Plus projects, including Adviceline and the Hampshire Advice Network.
FirstStop
FirstStop provides advice and information about housing and care options for older people, their families and carers. A partnership agreement has been made to deliver face to face advice in the New Forest and Basingstoke.
